Step 1Greeting and Leading in ( 3mins )

1. Daily greeting.

2. Enjoy a video about Kung Fu panda.

3. Have a free talk with students about their favorite animals. T:Can you say something about pandas? S:….

T:Guess what animal is it?(show some information about elephant let Ss to guess) S: …

Step 2 Presentation(10mins) 1. Present some pictures and some information about the pandas and elephants,and students use them to describe them .

2. Students use the comparative degree to compare the animals. 3. (1a) Compare facts about Elephant and Panda. Use the language in the box to help you make sentences.

Example sentences:

This elephant weighs many times more than this panda.
