本课话题为our English learning是学生熟悉的话题，六年的英语学习使学生具备了一定的语言积淀，通过本单元一二课学习，又掌握了过去时，这些能使他们较顺利地运用学过的单词,短语,句子表达自己的英语学习经历。通过语篇学习，要求学生不仅能够复述语篇内容，还要让学生完成拓展性活动，与同学进行交流分享。

一、Pre-reading

1. Free talk: Did you enjoy your winter holiday? What did you do during your holiday? Would you like to share with us?

2. T: Where did I go during the winter holiday? Do you want to know?

(Show some pictures ) I went to America. I visited an American school.

How did the American students study at school? I took some pictures there. Let’s see and know something about them.

(Show some pictures)

Introduce the phrases and learn them did tasks in groups; (tasks=jobs ,the students finish the jobs in groups)

Last week Tom，one of the American students there emailed me. He wants to know something about Chinese students’

school life. Can you write the emails to introduce your school life to him? 【设计意图】通过分享“winter holiday”复习过去时，教师介绍自我winter holiday语言中，渗透学习本课的相关词汇及语句，为学生后续的进一步学习，顺利掌握课文内容做好铺垫。并用美国学生要了解中国学生的学习经历为线索，引出课文学习。

【设计意图】通过语篇的初次整体展示，让学生理解大意。学生听高伟的演讲，了解高伟谈论了什么？初步感知怎样介绍英语学习经历。
