Step 1: Greetings and warming up.

Sing the song together. “Fly, Fly, the Butterfly”

Step 2: Review. Review the words in the last class.

Step 3: Presentation. 1.

Introduce the new words: strict, clever, nice, helpful. 2.

Let students listen to the tape and finish the question. Then check the answer in pairs. 3.

Ask some students to show their answer and give them stars as a prize. 4.

Present the dialogue. Let students listen to the tape and answer, “What’ she like?” “Is she strict?”

Step 4: Practice. 1.

Practice the dialogue and show it in front of the class. Help students to correct their pronunciation.

Show the picture of my friend. Lead students to practice the structures.( Key point) 3.
