Ss will be able to be polite to others when they turn down their invitations.

Teaching difficult points: Ss can use proper sentences to make, accept and decline invitations and give reasons correctly and fluently. Teaching tools: Multimedia, tape recorder Teaching steps: Step 1 Warm-up Let students enjoy some pictures of Mogan Mountain Scenic Spot. Step 2 Lead in T: I am really busy these days, I want to have a very relaxing weekend. I want to go to Mogan Mountain Scenic Spot. I am planning to go there this weekend, Can you go with me?

Step 3 Presentation Show the days of the week in a large monthly calendar . Point out the days of the week at the top of the calendar and ask a student to read these words aloud. Ask a student to point out today’s date,
