一、教材内容分析

本单元主要围绕讨论电视节目和电影展开。Section A部分通过图文为学生创设了“谈论电视节目”的语境，并呈现了不同电视节目类型的表达方式，以及句型A: What do you think of…? B: I don’t mind them. / I can’t stand them. / I love watching them.用来表达对各类电视节目的偏好。本部分还呈现了谈论计划和安排的句型：A: Do you want to watch the news? B: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. A: What do you plan to watch on TV tonight? B: I plan to watch Days of Our Past.主要学习不定式作宾语的用法，如：want to do, plan to do, expect to do, hope to do等。

教学目标（知识，技能，情感态度、价值观）

1. Grasp the new words. then Learn to talk about the kinds of TV shows and their preferences. 2. Learn the new words using the flashcards and consolidate the main sentences by working in pairs. 3. Help students learn the useful knowledge from the TV shows. 三、学习者特征分析

本单元涉及的是电视节目相关的内容，学生学会这些节目的表达并会谈论这些节目的看法。学生对这些内容比较有兴趣。同时八年级学生具备了一定的合作探究式学习能力，我相信，本单元的学习一定是学生很感兴趣的一个单元。

本课的学习内容是对电视节目的种类了解；学习谈论对电视节目的看法。学生都很喜欢看电视，因此这个话题贴近学生生活实际，也能充分激发他们的学习兴趣，课上要引导他们用英语表达出不同的人对电视节目的不同偏好，并且陈述他们的看法和意见。学会询问他人对某事物的看法及观点的重要句型，准确把握这些句子的运用场合。其次，动词不定式作宾语是首次在语法中出现也是难点。

四、教学策略选择与设计

采用展示图片、表演对话、创设情境、小组合作交流与自主探究、听说读写四项基本技能相结合的方式来熟练使用Grammar Focus的重点句型培养各项能力。
