教学目标

Unit5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section A(grammar focus)是八年级英语上册第六单元Section A 的语法部分，本单元的中心话题是future intentions，主要语言功能是谈论并做计划，如将来的职业。语言结构为What do you want to be when you grow up?I want to be...How are you going to do that?I am going to...利用be going to...句型做打算。

本课时主要为语法教学加练习巩固。围绕三大句型，运用want to be及be going to句型谈论未来打算从事的职业。通过学习这一课时，训练了目标语言，为下一步阅读写作打好基础。

知识与技能： 1.知识与能力目标：

本课时的重点单词及短语：words of jobs,the time expressions,verb phrases 句型：What do you want to be ?I want to be../How are you going to do that?I am going to../When are you going to do ...? 2.过程与方法目标：

能够使用语言目标谈论将来打算。

3.情感态度与价值观：

（1）形成正确的职业观念,并为之努力

（2）引入情感教育，让学生感恩父母和感恩教师

过程与方法： 1、通过视频，图片展示等方式，让学生感知学习内容。

2、通过游戏，对话和写作练习，培养学生的情感。

教学设计思路：视频话题导入，猜谜练习，情感引导，总结输出

教学过程

StepⅠ .Lead-in（2－3minutes）

First,I will play an inspirational video about how to achieve a dream,and ask students what they think of the movie.Then lead in the topic “what do you want to be when you grow up”.

Aims(设计意图)It is aimed to attract students’ interests about dream jobs,also they will have a brain storm about words they have learned and

talk about their dream jobs. StepⅡ. practice( 5 minutes) In this step，Students will be asked to practice the learned words and phrases. Aims(设计意图):some guessing games are set to practice the main sentences. StepⅢ.Consolidation(3－4minutes) In this step, there are three dreams for students to guess. The three dreams are about love for parents, love for the young ,and love for work. Then

students read the conversation together. Aims(设计意图):It aims to make students learn to respect and love their parents and teachers. StepⅣ.Survey（7minutes）

Students are asked to make a survey in pairs by using the given sentences and then give their reports to the class. Aims(设计意图):It is set to improve the students’ writing skills. StepⅤ.Read the motto and design the homework（1minute）

Students read the motto together and Write a report about their dreams. The last part is my Blackboard Design Unit5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section A(grammar focus) what do you want to be when you grow up?
