一、教学内容分析

本单元围绕“Invitations”这一话题，展开形式多样的听、说、读、写学习活动。主要学习发出、接受或者拒绝邀请的表达；能正确使用can引导的句子来发出邀请，并能表达接受或拒绝邀请。本单元Section A主要是复习、巩固学生日常生活常见活动内容的动词短语学习，运用Can you come to …?句式进行问答，学生能发出、接受或拒绝邀请。Section B 进一步拓展了此话题，借助日历引出日期的表达方式呈现相关的词汇和短语，依据时间表对活动进行细化。在形式上从口头对话发出邀请、接受邀请和拒绝邀请，逐步过渡到邀请函的写作，按照“听力输入—阅读训练—由读促写” 的过程逐层递进。通过本单元的学习使学生学会用得体的语言发接受或拒绝别人的邀请，并能陈述自己的理由，监控交际语言运用的得体行。了解有关聚会邀请的礼仪，并知道如何接受邀请或委婉拒绝邀请。

1a-1f部分通过听说活动拓展单元话题，巩固目标语言的运用。活动1a要求写出一周的对应日期，活动1b复习weekend, today, yesterday, the day before yesterday, 拓展weekday, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow等新词汇。活动1c借用1a和1b的信息进行操练对日期提问的句型What’s today? It’s….活动1d-1e是结合日期等相关信息进行听力检测。活动1f是听力的延续，让学生将听到的信息用角色扮演的方式进行语言输出。

二、教学目标

语言知识目标：

1.通过教师自身的情景式导入和与学生互动的问答形式，学习和巩固该话题下的词汇句型，激发调动学生的求知欲，熟练使用以下词汇、短语和句型：

3. 能综合运用can来表达邀请。

学习策略：

1. 通过听前的词汇分类与听中聚焦关键信息，学生能掌握该听力策略。

2. 通过听后深度挖掘听力信息任务的设置和文本再构，学生能进一步去判断并思考表达观点，发展了口语技能。

情感态度价值观目标：

通过教师引导下和学生在活动中的感悟总结，学生能学会人际交往的基本常识，学会有礼貌地邀请别人以及回答别人的邀请的方式。理解“义务”涵义，学会承担自己应尽的义务，能够在班级以及社会生活中担当一定的责任。理解人与人之间的真情，学会珍惜朋友之间、师生之间的友情。

文化素养目标：

通过学习，学生了解国外社交聚会的基本知识，以及出席此类聚会的基本常识，知道如何接受邀请或委婉拒绝邀请。

三、学习者特征分析

本学期担任八年级的英语教学工作，两个班的学生数都在四十人左右，英语学科的整体水平相当。每个班都有十个左右的学优生，中等水平的学生均在二十个左右，剩下十个左右是学困生。学优生的英语学习兴趣很高，课堂上学习活动积极主动，课后作业完成质量很高；中等水平学生也有一定的学习热情，能独自完成难度不很大的学习任务，基本能完成课后作业；学困生的英语基础很差，学习兴趣不浓，课堂上学习活动不主动，只能在教师和其他同学的帮助下完成十分简单的学习任务。

四、教学重点及难点

教学重点：

1. 掌握本课时新出现的单词、短语和句型表达方式。

2. 进行听力训练，提高综合听说能力。

3日常生活活动中，学生能较为熟练地使用本单元的目标句型。

教学难点：
