学生在七年级已学习了星期和日期的表达，而且在本单元前两课时学习了在日常生活中如何使用Can you...?结构礼貌地发出邀请和根据实际情况如何礼貌地接受或拒绝邀请，这些知识为本节课的学习打好了基础。因此本节课学习难度相对降低。本节学生只需会根据日历或实际情况礼貌地接受或拒绝邀请就可以。相对来说本节课学生容易理解与掌握。

Step1:Presentation

1.Ss learn new vocabularies by a calendars on PPT. T:What’s the date today? What day is it today?→a calendar of June

From Monday to Friday is the weekday.Saturday and Sunday is the

weekend. 2.Present the day before yesterday and the day after tomorrow by the calendar. 3.T leads Ss to read new vocabularies.

Step2:Practice 1.Ask Ss to complete 1a and 1b. 2.Teacher leads Ss to summarize the target language“What’s today?”

by “What’s the date today? What day is it today?”

Step3:Pairwork 1.Ss do pairwork like this: A:What’ today? B:It’s Wednesday the 5th.

A:What was yesterday? B:It was Tuesday the 4th. ...... 2.T asks individual Ss to present their conversations. Step4:Pre-listening 1.Lead Ss to read Di Jiaxin’s calendar. Di Jiaxin's

本课时是本单元Section B的第一课时,是一节听说课。通过日历帮助学生学习新词汇weekday,weekend,the day before yesterday,the day after tomorrow.通过What’s the date today?What day is it today?帮助学生学习并理解What’ today?又通过创设情境，学生对话帮助学生进一步体会上述目标语言在真实语境中的应用。接着听力环节中通过听前，听中，听后三部分又一次练习，体会目标语言及巩固礼貌地发出邀请和礼貌地接受或拒绝邀请的句型结构。总的来说，本节课集听、说、读、写为一体，已达到我的预期目标，是一节比较成功的课。
