一．教学目标（Teaching aims）

1) 学习掌握下列词汇：worse, service, pretty, menu, act

2）进行一步复习巩固学习Section A 部分所学的生词和词组。

3）对形容词及副词的最高级形式的构成进行总结，掌握其构成规则。

4) 总结用形容词及形容词的最高级形式来描述人物或事物的句型结构。

二．教学重点（Teaching keys）

1. 三会词：

worse ;service ; pretty; menu; act; meal;

2．重点短语：in town; not at all; how far

3. 重点句型：

①-What’s the best movie theater to go to?

--Town Cinema.It’s the closest to home.And you can buy tickets the most quickly there. ②-Which is the wost clothes store in town?

--Dream Clothes . It’s worse than Blue Moon.It has the worst service.

③--What do you think of 970 AM?

--I think 970 AM is pretty bad . It has the worst music. 4.重点语法：形容词最高级的用法。

三．教学难点（Teaching difficulties ）

1) 掌握一些特殊形容词或副词的最高级形式。

2) 运用形容词和副词的最高级形式来描述人物或事物。

四．教学方法(Teaching ways)

1、让学生通过浏览信息自主预习。

2、合作探究提出问题。

3、通过小组讨论得出结论。

五．教学过程

Step1.

复习已学目标语及评判电影院的标准。

Look at the pictures and make sentences.

学生根据图片用形容词比较级和最高级造句。如：

The screen is big. The screen is bigger. The screen is the biggest. Step2.

1.导入新课话题

Suppose you move to a new place, you know little about the neighborhood. Then what should you do? (学生此时可能会给出一些做法。) Maybe you can ask your neighbors for some information.

2.引导学生事先了解文章内容。

Let’s watch. (出现2d对话中的图片并介绍)

Greg is new in town . Here is a conversation between Helen, one of his kind neighbors and he.Greg is asking something about the new town. Do you want to know what they are talking about? 3.阅读对话并回答问题。

Please read the conversation silently first and try to find the answer to the following questions. 学生阅读并回答问题。核对答案。

小组讨论，分角色朗读。

Now work in pairs and role-play the conversation. 学生两人一组分角色朗读对话至熟练。

教师巡视监督并提供帮助。

Step5. 通过练习丰富目标句式。

Think of 3 stores in our city and fill in the chart.

学生根据要求完成表格。

Make 5 sentences according to your chart.

Step6. 通过造句练习目标语。

Think about three restaurants for lunch near your home. Fill in the chart.

学生完成3c表格

Then find out the best one.

让学生找出最好的一间餐馆。

通过对话练习目标语。

T: XXX, which do you think is the best restaurant near your home?

S: XXX is the best restaurant.

T: Why?

S: Because It’s the closest to my home, only five minutes on foot. There are many kinds of seafood, I like seafood very much. And the service is the best. 教师与学生自由交谈，引导学生自然说出自己心仪的饭店，并陈述理由。

让几个学生到前面做一个报告。

Step7.Homework 1. 根据课堂反思掌握形容词最高级的变化形式和例词。
