教学目标

一、知识与技能

1. 学习掌握重点词汇:discussion, happen, may, expect, joke.

2. 进一步复习巩固运用Section A 部分所学的生词和词组。

3. 进一步学习运用所学的知识来陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

4. 掌握动词不定式结构作动词的宾语这一语法知识；掌握后面接动词不定式作宾语的动词。

二、过程与方法

训练法，熟能生巧法，通过练习巩固复习所学知识。

三、情感、态度与价值观

学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜好。注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意识，形成自己独立的个性。

教学重点

1. 进一步学习运用所学的句型What do you think of ...?来陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

2. 掌握动词不定式结构作动词的宾语这一语法知识；掌握后面接动词不定式作宾语的动词。

2.掌握以下重点句子：

（1）---Do you want to watch the news?

----Yes,I do,I don`t.

(2)---What do you think of talk shows?

----I don`t mind them./I can`t stand them./I love watching them. (3) ---Why do you like watching the news?

---Because I hope to find out what`s going on around the world。

教学过程

Step 1 Greetings

Greet the students as usual.

Step 2 Revision

Do you know what kind of TV shows they are? Please write their names down. Then ask students what TV shows they like. And talk about them.

Step 3 Role-play Role-play the conversation between Grace and Sarah. T:Great.Let’s look at the picture in 2d.They are Grace and Sarah Their class es are over and they are talking happily on the way home.Can you guess what they’re talking about? T:First please read the conversation in pairs. T:What are they talking about? T:You did a good job! Can you match the persons with their favourite shows?

Task3.Play a reading game.

First teacher leads students to read 2d.

Then Explain some new words and main points in the conversation. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conver-sation.

Step 4 Grammar Focus

Ask the students to read the sentences in Grammar focus and then do some ex-ercises without referring to the book. Then the students check the answers by themselves. Remind them to pay atten-tion to the

phrases: want to do, plan to do, expect to do, hope to do…F inally give the students several minutes to remember them.

Step 5 Pair work

3a Ask students to read the conversation in 3a and try to fill in the blanks with right words. Then ask some pairs to read their conversations. Final-ly ask the students to read their conversations aloud.

3b-3c Ask one or two students to read and translate the questions in the chart. Then work in pairs, ask and answer them. Finally ask some pairs to ask and answer. Correct the mistakes if any.

教学反思

这节课后，我认为还有不足之处。有些图片内容繁杂，让学生们看图说句子，势必量少，也显得沉闷，如果我改为让每个学生说一个句子，而且不能重复，并及时表扬积极的学生，那么就能在有限的时间内，充分调动学生的学习的兴趣，同时也能培养学生的口语表达能力。
