本课为人教版一年级起点第一册，适用于一年级学生。本课是该单元第一课时，涉及的教学内容不宜太多、太深。要求学生能听懂、会说并熟练掌握cat, dog, bird, monkey, tiger五种动物的英文说法；教材中出现的chant 作为教学内容的一部分，可以增添课堂的趣味性，使教学达到更好的效果。授课时间为40分钟。

课后反思

一年级学生年龄小，自控力不够，因此要时刻注意课堂秩序的维持。

课堂教学模式稍嫌单一，可以使其尽量多样化，以利用多种刺激维持学生的兴趣。

鼓励学生用英语回答问题。

教师语速要适当减慢。

游戏时间可以适当加长。

随时纠正学生的发音。

chant 稍嫌过长，特别是最后需要升降调的单词反复朗读，可以省略。
