一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1)

学习掌握下列词汇：discussion happen except joke, comedy

2）进行一步复习巩固运用Section A 部分所学的生词和词组。

3）进一步学习运用所学的知识来陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

4) 掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语这一语法知识；掌握后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

2. 情感态度价值观目标：

学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。

注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意义，形成自己独立的个性。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1) 进一步学习运用所学的知识来陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

2) 掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语这一语法知识；掌握后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

三、教学过程

StepⅠ. Revision

The teacher says:“Many people like watching TV, most of us watch TV every evening. Do you know what kind of TV shows there are? （students answer this question）

Then ask one of the students: “what do you think of game shows? Why”.

The teacher:What do you think of

The students: I can’t stand it. / I like it. / I don’t mind it. I… because..... Step Ⅱ. Role-play the conversation(2d) 1. Show a picture on the big screen. Ask the students to look at the picture. Then ask the students the questions. ①

Who are they? ②

What are they talking about? 2 . Ask the students read the conversation, then answer these questions. ①.What kind of TV shows do Sarah’s classmates like? ②.What does Grace think of game shows and sports shows?

What does Grace think of Soap Operas? What does Sarah think of them? ④

What are Sarah’s favorite TV shows? Why? 3.Play the tape, then ask the students to follow the tape. 4. Ask two students to role-play the conversation

When the students role-play the conversations. Ask the students to pay attention to using the language points、talking aloud、body languages. (this step helps them to improve their oral English and speaking skills) 5.

The teacher circles the phrases on the big screen. (like to follow

Then let the students find the rules.(they all have “to do sth”) Then tell the students “this is infinitive”. Step Ⅲ. Grammar focus 1.

Ask the students to read grammar focus together. 2.

The teacher says:“Hello! Class! Can you find the infinitives in Grammar Focus.please circle them” then ask the students to circle the infinitives in Grammar Focus.after that asks:“what are they？”then check the answers. Read the infinitives together.

3.Summary the infinitives:.“when two verbs are linked, the second one uses “to do sth, to plus prototype. We call this infinitive.”then show infinitive forms on the big screen. 动词不定式的形式：to+动词原形

V. Practice

Work on 3a:
