Section B是在 Section A的基础上，借助日历引出日期的表达方式，呈现相关词汇和句式，依据时间表对活动安排进行细化。在形式上从口头对话发出邀请、接受邀请和拒绝邀请，逐步过渡到邀请函的写作。邀请的内容也从聚会拓展到学生日常生活中的其他常见活动。要求学生学会使用not． until， the day after tomorrow等表示时间的短语，并能通过听、说、读、写活动，进一步巩固和细化有关邀请话题的表达，学会用邀请函的方式有礼貌地发出邀请、接受邀请或拒绝邀请。1a－1f部分通过听说活动拓展单元话题，巩固目标语言的运用。活动1a要求写出了对应的日期，活动1b复习 weekend， today， yesterday， the day before yesterday，拓展weekday， tomorrow， the day after tomorrow等新词汇。活动1c借用1a和1b的信息操练对日期提问的句型What＇ s today？It＇s…。活动ld－le是结合日期等相关信息进行的听力检测.活动是1f是听力的延续，让学生将听到的信息用角色扮演的方式进行语言输出。

Pre－task 1a & 1b. 1．Show the days of the week in a large monthly calendar. 2．Point out the days of the week at the top of the calendar and ask a student to read these words aloud. 3．Ask a student to point out today's date，tomorrow's date，the day after tomorrow's date and yesterday's date. 4．Complete Activity 1a，then check the answers. 5．Ask students to write the words today，tomorrow，yesterday and the day after tomorrow in the correct space on the calendars in their books.
