Speaking and Writing（第三课时）

Step1:Lead in

1.谈话导入

2.Brainstorming 设计意图：借助一张图片，让学生复习本单元学过的有关于电视节目的词汇及对电视节目评价的形容词。为后面的话题写作提供知识储备。

Step2 Practice

phrases Fill in the blanks 设计意图：对比两张图片，Lucy和Zhao Liying,喜欢的节目及原因，在词汇的基础上练习相关的短语，为下面的句子练习奠定基础，并且再次引导学生对电视节目进行评价。

Step3 Practice sentences

With the information they got on the internet, ask the students to tell others what TV shows their favorite star likes best and what doesn’t she/he like, Why and why not .Try to make sentences with the phrases and sentence patterns.(She/He likes…She/He doesn’t…because…)

设计意图：以学生感兴趣的明星为切入点，让学生以网上查询的信息，来运用重点句型。谈论的别人的喜好，为后面的段落输出打好基础。同时给出第一个写作技巧：用不同的句型表达同一个意思。

Step4 Turn the sentences into a paragraph (Practice linking words.)

First show a picture, tell the student her favorite TV shows. first five single sentences，then add

the words

“and

so

but

because”

to join the five sentences together. Second, present three dialogues, ask the others to retell

what their classmate likes or doesn’t like. 设计意图：给学生设置一定的话题，让他们能够运用重点句型去表达，同时在前面句子的基础上，加上关联词，从只能说单一的句子转向可以说简短的语段。同时告知学生第二个写作技巧，写作的时候，正确运用关联词。

Step 5Turn the paragraph into a short passage (present the outline for a passage)

设计意图：在语段的基础上引入篇章，告诉学生一个完整的语篇要有开，正文和结尾。并且引导学生在写作之前最好列一个提纲。

Step6 Practice writing Ask the students to write a composition with the topic I give them.

Evaluating 设计意图：让学生在前面Speaking的基础上，确定要写的内容，列出文章的提纲，可能用到的句型，然后让学生独立写自己的作文，写完后根据我提供的评价标准，同伴互评，最后找一个学生到前面用实物投影，展示同伴的作文以及自己给出的评价结果和理由。

Step7Homework Correct their own composition and make their composition perfect. 设计意图：学生已经感知一篇相对完美的作文应该具备的条件。在此基础上，让学生对自己的文章做出正确评价，检验自己对整个词汇，语法的掌握情况，找出自己在运用知识来构建篇章的不足。
