1 在第四单元中,学生将进一步扩展与旅行有关的知识、语言和技能。Jenny和Danny来到中国要了解中国的文化,本课主要介绍中国的传统节日——春节。
五年级的学生经过了两年多的英语学习,对英语的好奇心和兴趣从起步时的会读会说几个单词向会说会用简单的句子表述自己的想法的阶段转变。学生对英语有着浓厚的兴趣,渴望获得更多的知识,本课在继续培养学生学习兴趣和听说能力的同时,采用符合学生心理特点的教学方法和教学手段,通过让学生充分的听、说,有计划地培养学生的读、写以及分析语篇的能力,特别对于个别学习上有困难的学生,老师耐心的采取积极鼓励的方法,创设生动的情景,调动他们的学习积极性,培养其学习自信心。
语言知识与技能:
1.学生能听、说、读、写以下词汇:room, door, window ,make, kid. 2.学生能认读,理解并运用下列句子:

教学过程:
StepⅠ. Class Opening and Review.
一、Greeting.(1mins) T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Ou Yang. T:How are you? Ss: I am fine, thanks. And you? T: I am very well. Are you happy today? Ss: Yes. T:I am happy ,too. Because Christmas is coming.
Do you know Christmas? (出现圣诞节的图片)
When is Christmas? Ss: December 25. (新授前的问候,必不可少,它给学生创设了良好的语言环境,引导学生进入语言的课堂,同时也练习同学们的听说能力,与此同时也为新授做铺垫,通过问好与学生拉近距离活跃课堂气氛,激发学习兴趣。)
二、Review. 1.T: Let us play a game. You are team 1, you are team 2. Guess what holiday is it? Ss: Ok!
教师通过唱歌和看图片让学生复习节日,节日单词学生齐读,日期两组比赛说,答对组的灯笼点亮。
(设计意图:教师唱歌学生猜,两组比赛的形式使学生参与的积极性很高,
由学过的节日引出春节,自然的过渡到了新知识。)
Step Ⅱ. New Concepts.
1.T: It is January 1, what holiday is it?
Ss: New Year’s Day.
T: Do you know Chinese New Year?
It is……
Ss: Spring Festival.
T: When is the Spring Festival?
Ss: It’s in January or February.
T: What` the date today?
Ss: It is Thursday, December 18.
T: So Spring Festival is coming.
Before Spring Festival I buy some beautiful clothes, I buy a lot of food.
What do you do for the Spring Festival? You can speak English and Chinese.
S1: I buy new clothes.
S2: 贴春联
T: We decorate our house.
S3: 买年货
T:We do Spring Festival Shopping.
S4: We clean our rooms. (设计意图:让学生自己充分发挥自己的想象力,说自己春节时候会做的事情,贴近学生生活,更有利于把知识置于实际生活当中,不局限学生的思维。)
T: You are a good kid.
(出示图片,让学生跟老师一起说春节前做的事情)
We buy new clothes. We buy some candy.
We buy some vegetables. We clean our rooms. We clean the door. We clean the floor. We clean the window. We do a lot of things. What does Li Ming’s family do for the Spring Festival? 让学生听录音填空,呈现四会词,并板书。
学生两组比赛填空,填完之后让学生齐读句子。
(设计意图:带着问题去听课,更有利于对课文的理解,让学生填写四会词,加深记忆。)
2.出示学生包饺子的照片
T:Li Ming is a good boy. Look here, here is a good boy. Who is he ? Ss: Liu Zhaoqi. T: What is he doing? Ss: He is making dumplings. T: Do you like dumplings?
Ss: Yes. T: I like it very much. Dumplings are very important for the Spring Festival. And they are very delicious. So in Spring Festival we make dumplings.(领读make,并板书)
3.T:What does Li Ming’s family make dumplings in Spring Festival?
Open your books and listen to the tape. Answer the questions.
Underline the answers on your books. 先出示前两个问题,让学生听完录音比赛回答. 问到第二个问题时
T:Kids are the children, you are kids.(板书kids)
We often put the money into the red packet.
This is lucky money. 然后再听课文的最后两句话回答第三题。
T:It’s on February 2, but I think it’s not right for this year .
When is the Spring Festival this year?
Ss: It’s February 19. T: Ok, Now let’s read after the tape.(学生跟读课文) T:Now boys are Li Ming , girls are Jenny, I am Danny. Let’s read the text together.(分角色齐读课文) 4. T:Let’s have a practice. Read and match.
(书上第二部分的练习,让学生比赛选出答案,选答案的同学把句子读出来,然后其他同学再齐读。) 5. T:Can you say something about Li Ming’s
family’s Spring Festival?
(两组比赛填空,填完后让学生齐读)
6. T:This is Li Ming `s family `s Spring Festival. What about you?
Before Spring Festival, We buy new clothes. We clean our rooms. We make dumplings. On New Year’s
Eve, we have New Year’s
Eve dinner together . We watch Spring Festival Gala. We set fire crackers. In Spring Festival, we visit our family and friends. We say “Happy New Year” to each other. Kids get lucky money.(学生跟老师一起说,拓展的老师说并把新词组领读一遍) T:What do you do for the Spring Festival?
S1: I buy new clothes. I eat delicious food. I watch Spring Festival Gala. T: Ok, please make up a dialogue with your partners like this. (给学生几分钟时间准备然后表演) 7.T:This is our Spring Festival. What else do we do?
Let us watch a video.
T: That’s interesting, they are happy.
Now four students is a group, look at the paper, according to that radio, complete it. (看介绍春节的英语小故事,让学生根据看的内容选择正确答案) Homework:
Choose one of them to do it. 1.Make a poster to introduce the Spring Festival. 2.Write some sentences to introduce the Spring Festival. T: Look at the fireworks, is it beautiful? S: Yes. T;So we are waiting for the Spring Festival together.
