教学标题：八（上）Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake？

Section B (3a-4 Self check)

学情分析：不会用英文写作文是绝大多数学生的通病,尤其是农村学生，大部分学生看不懂题目，不知道动笔。作文是由句子构成,一个正确的句子需要用正确的句型、正确的词组,正确的时态构成。而我所教的班级有大约只有40%左右能看懂题目，句子通顺，差不多没有语法错误。30%左右基本上看得懂题目，但是语法错误较多。20%左右只能写出几句简单的句子，剩下10%基本上就是抄阅读理解或者是空着。所以能让大部分学生自己写出一篇较好的作文还得花点功夫。写好作文,没有诀窍,只有多写、多练。

教学目标：1.Key phrases:cut up, put ...into..., cut ...into pieces 2.Key sentence: Now, it's time to have the rice noodles! 3.Key Grammmar:The differences between countable nouns and uncountables nouns.

教学过程：

Step 1 Review Ask your partner his/her most special day in China. 1. What do you think is the most special day? I think it’s Spring Festival. 2. What are the reasons for this special day? People give thanks to the people who beat the scary animal Nian. 3. How do you celebrate it?

We usually put up red decorations and light firecrackers. 4. What are the main dishes? We usually eat dumplings.

Step 2 Lead in Do you know the traditional food in your city? Can you list some of them? Dumplings , Beijing Duck, Yunnan Rice Noodles , mapo tofu Step 3a 1.Read the recipe below and fill in the blanks with the words in the box. 写作指导： 首先，掌握方框中单词的含义；并阅读短文，整体把握短文大意。 其次，分析有空格的每个句子，根据上下文意及固定搭配来确定空格处的意思，从而确定空格处所用的单词。 最后，再通读一遍短文，检查是否正确。 2.Check the answers. you.As Ss work, move around the room offering assistance as needed. 写作指导：

本文为写自己所喜欢的食物的食谱。因此，时态应用一般现在时态； 先根据3b中的所列的原料清单，说明做此食物所需的原料。 然后，描述一下制作此食物的过程。注意使用first, next, then, finally 等表示做事情的次序的副词来使描述更清晰明确。 2.Choose 1 or 2 students' writings. Let students find out the mistakes and correct them.Then the teacher give a conclusion. 3.The teacher induct the Ss to correct their compositions. Step 6 Give Ss a version 1.One possible version: 

We need some pieces of Beijing Duck, sauce and green onion, some lettuce and some pancake. 

First, put the green onion and some sauce on the pancake. 

Next, put some pieces of duck on it. 

Then role the pancake and eat it. 2.Have Ss read it loudly ,try to remember it. Step 7 Self Check Frist, the Ss finish this task by themselves, them check the answers. Step 8 Homework What' s your mother's best dishes? Ask her to tell the way to cook it. Write down the process.
