2 .Ask the pupils: What do you do? We are students.

Step2 Presentation

1. Ask a pupil: What do you do? I’m a student. Then revise the other jobs: singer，

worker，

doctor，

nurse，

farmer，

policeman and so on. 2. Show the pupils other new jobs and ask: What does he/she do? Help them to answer: He/She is a doctor. Then teach the new words waiter，

waitress and so on. Step3 Practice 1. Play the tape recording for the pupils to listen and repeat. 2. Have them read together. 3. Have the pupils work in pairs asking and answering.
