六.Teaching Procedures: Step 1: warm up Before my class, I play a tongue twister of the star Wu Yi fan about the noodles. This can concentrate students’

attention ,they will be curious about what they will learn. Step 2: lead in In this part, I’ll show some fruit pictures and play a guessing game with my students, by this way, lead out the topic“How do you make a banana milk shake?”. and I’ll make a banana milk shake with them to review the lesson they have learnt before. In this part, not only can check if students master the knowledge they have learnt, but also can train students’

practical ability. Step 3: presentation I will use ppt to show students a picture , then ask them what food they like. By this way, lead out another picture about some traditional food, and ask them:“Do you know the traditional food in your city? Can you list some of them?”

I’ll let some students answer my questions. Next, I’ll show some delicious food pictures to students by ppt, ask them two questions, according to students’

answers, I’ll ask them to make some easy food. So I’ll show them another picture about how to make Yun Nan rice noodles. Let students look at the picture and say out the ingredients, after that, ask them to read P63 3a and fill in the blanks with the words in the box. Finally, check the answers with them.

Step 4: practice Think of your favorite food in your hometown, make the list of ingredients. Here I’ll give them an example of making Beijing duck, write down the ingredients. Let them write the ingredients of their favorite food. Then I’ll ask some of them to tell us. Step5: extension （group work）

Write a recipe for your favorite food. Use 3a and 3b to help you. Before students do it, I’ll teach them to make an outline by ppt. Next, let six groups choose the number to know what food recipe they will write. Students will take the food card from the blackboard, and write the recipe with their partners, several minutes, I’ll ask some groups to show us their recipes, and group5 will come to the teachers’
