1. Show the project Write about our city and the best places/things here with superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs. 2.Lead in (3 min) Show Ss a picture, and ask them: 1）What’s it? Is it a street, a neighborhood or a park? 2）Do you know the name of the park? 3）Where is it？

本课时是新目标八上Unit4 的第四课时，学生对形容词和副词最高级已经基本掌握，本节课让学生在贴近真实的语境中使用最高级。整节课的目标比较明确，一节课都是围绕the best places/things 来讲由 Greenwood Park 过渡到我们的家乡石家庄自然，学生们在此过程中充分表达自己的观点。写作环节是学生整个一节课的生成部分，大部分学生都能按照老师的要求写出了一篇有关石家庄的最好的地方或事物，但是学生作文中还存在语法错误，结构不够清晰等问题，在下一节课上还要重点讲解。整体来说本节课目标明确，重难点突出。
