（一）课标分析

英语《课程标准》要求学生掌握英语最高级的词形变化和最高级的使用。最常见的标志词：of 、in等。

（二）教材分析

本课是八年级上册第四单元的SectionB部分的阅读，是在之前学习了比较级和最高级之后的运用，帮助学生更好的理解、掌握、使用最高级。

（三）学生分析

1. 学生之前学习了比较级和最高级，有了一定的认识。

2. 但很多学生对于最高级变化总出错，诸如词形、形容词最高级忘加the等。

3. 学生需要通过阅读等活动来更好的熟悉、理解并进一步掌握最高级。

（四）教学目标

三、课后系统部分——教学反思

本节课基本达到了教学目标，复习了比较级和最高级，完成了本节课的阅读任务，并设计了帮助学生理解和运用的短文填空和帮助学生记忆的短语总结。同时也让学生听了课文录音。

单词贯穿于语境中学习，学生锻炼了听力及理解能力。通过一系列的阅读任务，学生完成了本课的学习任务。阅读中注意对学生进行阅读方法、技巧的指导，以便学生形成自己的阅读策略。

上好一堂课的前提是要求我们教师认真备好课，做到“三备”：备教材（了解课标、钻研教材），备教法（多种教法结合），备学生（方方面面，整体特点，个体差异）。

八年级学生成绩两极分化现象普遍存在，而且是比较难以解决的一个问题。一般说来，两极分化形成的规律是：刚进校的初一学生，对英语学习热情高，好奇心强，学习成绩较好。但随着时间的推移，难度的加深，以及兴趣的减弱，一些学生的成绩一步步地落后掉队，而且落伍人数也相对地增加。到了初二年级，分化现象尤其突出，直接影响着学生在整个中学阶段的英语成绩，同时也阻碍了初中英语教学质量的提高。所以，如何防止分化，大面积提高教学质量，使学生在初中阶段获得较好的成绩，是八年级英语教学反思必需重视和解决的问题。

英语课堂教学是初中生学习英语的主要渠道，如果教师教学不得法，不严格遵循语言教学规律，不全面贯彻英语教学原则，教法单一呆板，只注重知识传授，不注意能力培养，只注重讲解，不注意实践，这样持续下去，学生就很自然地只满足于学好语法、背会单词、看懂课文、会做习题，而实际上没有达到熟练掌握，形成技能。大面积掉队的现象，也就在所难免。

这节课部分学生会不能积极参与到阅读任务的完成中来。以后的教学中，还要想方设法地更多层次设计阅读任务，想办法最大限度地调动学生的学习积极性。
