Lesson 7 Teaching aims: Learn to describe their own community in English with the sentence “there be”.

Important and difficult points:

Words and drills : river, near, beside, between, healthy,vegetable, street, etc.

There is a park near my home. Where is the bookshop?

Go down the street. The bookshop is on the left. Teaching courses: 1.

Do the free talk in groups and show in class. b.

Sing an English song. 2.

Presentation. a.

Introduce : Our friend Susan moved to a new house last Sunday. Get the class try to describe Susan’s community.
