——五年级上册Unit5 A Party (part 4a,part 5a)

【教学目标】

能听懂、理解故事《Tony’s Garden Party》。

能正确、有感情地朗读故事并表演。

能初步使用Let’s…表达自己的建议。

能借助板书、图片等简要地复述故事。

能体会故事中人物诚实、友善的品质。

能正确理解故事中的重点句子：What shall we do?Let’s run. Let’s hide behind the bushes./Let’s go over to the Brysons’./We’ll tell them. 3.

能初步使用Let’s…表达自己的建议。

【教学流程】

Step1:Pre-reading 1.

Greetings 2.

Class rules(CAI) (视频：播放介绍课堂“星”规则的微课) T:Let’s get stars. How to get stars? Let’s take a look. 3.

(CAI)Look,listen and guess:What party?（课件：出示图片，让学生猜party的类型，激发兴趣，导入课题）

Ask students to guess the party. (Birthday party, New Year party) 4.

Understand the meaning of the title.（课件：用卡通图片帮助学生理解花园派对的含义）

Understand the word‘garden party’.(CAI) T:A garden, some people, what party? (2)

Read the title of the story:Tony’s garden party. T:Today we’ll listen to a story about Tony’s garden party.

Step2:While-reading 1.

Reading of part4a. (1)Watch and answer:Who comes to the party?（课件：播放完整故事，学生回答问题。）

(2)Listen and order: What do they do in the story? (eat a cake, play football,break Mr Bryson’s window, say sorry)

（平板电脑：分组，学生在平板电脑上依据刚才看到的故事，将短语排序，理解故事内容。利用教学助手了解学生对文章的大意的了解情况。）

Learn to read Picture1 and Picture2. （课件：播放故事音频，学生跟读）

Learn to read Picture3 and Picture4.

Watch a video：get broken（微课视频：播放关于get broken的微课，帮助学生理解课文，为后面拓展环节的复述课文作铺垫。）

Ask and answer:if you break the window, what will you do? （启发思考，帮助学生树立正确的价值观，

“如果你打破他人玻璃，将会怎么做？”）

Learn to read Picture5 to Picture9. Understand the children’s ideas. （课件：播放图5-图9的音频，让学生理解文中几个孩子的想法，找出各自的想法。）

Ss draw the children’s thinking, then match the sentences and the names.

Learn the new word:bushes. Mike:What shall we do? Tony:Let’s run.

Rita:Let’s hide behind the bushes.

Emma:Let’s go over to the Brysons’ and tell them.

Task: Read this part with the video.

（课件：展示不同学生的想法，并用课件图片、简单动画等帮助学生学习生词bush，hide behind）

（平板电脑：配音。各组同学分角色跟读不同文中孩子们的话语，并在讲台上根据已经消音的视频故事配音。）

学生上台展示配音。

Learn to read Picture10. （课件：播放大家听从Emma的建议去道歉的一小段视频。）

2. Reading of part 5a.

(1)Look at the picture5 of the part 5a.Ss ask questions about the story. T:Look, what happens?

Ss:The window gets broken again. （课件：出示窗户破掉的图片，启发学生思考。让学生依据图片提出问题。例如为什么破了？谁踢破的？怎么踢破的？等）

T:What kind of question do you want to ask? (2)Watch the video and answer the students’ questions. （视频：播放故事后半部分的视频）

(3)Read and answer :What do they do at Mr Bryson’s home?

(play football,help…pick…) （课件：引导学生观察图片，思考他们在Mr Bryson家里做了什么，教学词组，为后面复述课文做铺垫。）

(4)Read the story with the video. （视频：学生跟着故事视频读。）

Step3: Post-reading 1.

Read part 4a and part 5a together.读完整的故事，4a,5a两个部分。

Read and order the sentences. （平板电脑：分组，将句子排序，看是否完整理解了故事。教师运用教学助手，查看大家掌握的情况。）

3.

Choose one task and do it in the group: （课件：介绍三种展示的形式）

Task1:Choose one part and act it out.选择一个部分，表演出来，不同的部分不同的难度系数，“星星”数不一样。

Task2:Retell the story.复述故事

Step4:Extension 1.

Free talk: Who’s idea is the best? Who’s honest? （课件：谁的想法比较好？谁是诚实的。）

2.

Get to know the qualities of the characters, and learn from them. （课件：出示人物及身上的优秀品质，让学生了解角色的优点，从他们身上学习。）
