Leading in

Show some pictures about Yunnan. Playa recording about Yunnan rice noodles .Get students to answer the question: What ingredients do they need to make Yunnan rice noodles ?

★Step 2

Pre－task

1．Call students' attention to 3a.Say，Let's center on 3a. 2．Ask one student to read the words in the box .Let girls read the instructions to the class. 3．Ss look through the recipe. Skip the blanks when reading. Then fill in the blanks with the words in the box. 4．Ask one student to give his or her answers. 5．Check the answers. Practice reading. ★Step 3 Pair work Get students to work in pairs to make a conversation about how to make Yunnan rice noodles. Let some pairs to act out their conversations. ★Step 4 Group work Ss each think of a favorite food in your hometown. Show some pictures about roast fish and braised prawns. Students work in groups to list the ingredients of braised prawns or other favorite food. Write them on the blank lines in the box. ★Step 5
