Students’activities:Greet the teacher,listen to teacher,and put their hands in the air. Teacher’s activities: Sing Taylor Swift’s song《Welcome to New York》

Purpose：To get the students to be interested in English. StepII.Before reading. Students’activities:To share their feelings about teacher’s song; to talk about their favorite singer; get To know who is Taylor Swift and what kind of music does she sing. Teacher’s activities: Ask students’feelings;introduce Taylor Swift to them;introduce Country Music to them. Purpose：To personalize the target lauguage and prepare Ss for the subsequent reading activity. StepIII. While Reading Fast reading Students’activities:Students skim the passage match the main idea of each paragraph; Students scan the passage and finish the “country music fact sheet.”
