教材分析:
本课是冀教版小学英语五年级上册第一单元第四课。教学内容是在学生学习了解了Li Ming's big family, What do they look like? What do they do?的基础上,进一步全面了解What do they like to do?再一次以Li Ming's family为话题进行讨论。在上册书学习了What do you like to do?的基础上,进一步学习What does he/she like to do?本课的教学主要通过与学生互动对话的形式来学习新句型和新的词组。整篇教学内容与学生生活实际紧密联系,富有生活情趣。
学情分析:
小学五年级的学生相对于低年级学生,已经有一定的英语基础,具备了一定的听、说、读、写的能力,并且具有很强的自行探究的能力,在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都具备了一定的水平,并有强烈的好奇心与动手操作能力。介于此时学生已经了解了What do you like to do?这一个句型结构,但是对于第三人称单数的表达仍很不清楚,因此在本课的新知识教学关于第三人称单数句型进行了强化训练,因此在本课的课堂教学中,在激发学生学习兴趣的基础上,通过对话、游戏、小组合作、自我展示、学法指导等方面,营造和谐、活跃的课堂氛围,促进高效课堂的构建与实施。使学生在欢快的环境中学习新知识。
教学目标:
学生通过熟练运用plant, flower, cook, go for a walk 这些单词和短语,I like to --- .He/She likes to--.这几个句型谈论自己和他人的爱好,进而了解家人的喜好,并参加他们的活动或运动,增强彼此之间的了解和沟通。(学习目标)
通过游戏、表演等活动,培养学生语言运用能力,通过学习语言知识,培养学生对知识的迁移能力和发散思维能力。(能力目标)通过这一系列活动,树立学生学好英语的信心,鼓励学生用英语进行表达;培养学生在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助的态度。(情感态度价值观)
教学重难点:
①使学生能够听懂、会说、认读、并书写下列词汇:plant, flower, cook, go for a walk
②使学生能够认读、理解并应用下列句型: He/She likes to………. 教 法:

教学过程:
一、Class opening and review:(3分钟)
Review:利用小chant,复习人称代词和有关家庭成员及职业的词汇。

二、Key concepts: 1.(1)Learning with ELf:师生问答练习What do you like to do? I like to .(3分钟)
【设计思路:观看视频,让学生利用句型复习,并培养学生的语言表达能力,并为这节课的新授做一个铺垫,让学生能够顺利地说出后面的句型及相关结构。】
(2)Guessing game.Guess the phrases.Learn “plant”
讲解plant的发音(板书)an-ant-lant-plant plant flowers plant trees 【设计思路:plant用彩色笔标示单词,为下面的教学做准备】
2.Dialogue practice:(3分钟)
a、出示Miss Hong的生活照片,引出新句型:
What does Miss Hong like to do? Miss Hong likes to do cook. 【设计思路:由Jeff的对话练习引申到学生们熟悉的人物,进而展开新的句型的练习。由Miss Hong转换人称代词he/she】
b、描述其他几个人物喜欢的活动。利用以下句型:
(姓名)likes to . He/She likes to . 【设计思路:本环节可用来练习动词在单三人称中的变化,通过练习,让学生巩固学习过的
知识,生动有趣。】

Listen, do and say.观看课文ppt,默读然后完成黑板上的配对练习。(10分钟)
(1)将人物头像贴在黑板上,根据课文内容为其配词组句。(板书)如:
Li Ming’s grandfather likes to go for a walk. ----- (2)最后提问遗漏的Jing。What does Jing like to do? She likes to water flowers. 【设计思路:本环节将教学内容过渡到课文,通过听读,检查孩子们的学习效果。教师引导学生练习本课句型He/She likes to .同时检查孩子们的组词造句能力】
4.Guessing game。趣味转盘活动,教师先示范然后让积极的孩子上前操练,从而将教学内容由情景引入课本。操练句型:(5分钟)
What does Li Ming’s grandfather/ grandmother like to do? He/She/ Li Ming’s grandfather/ grandmother likes to . 【设计思路:本活动直接应用了本节课中所学的内容,并使学生学会在生活中使用语言,在生活中运用语言。将本课教学推向高潮。】

Look and write.课文中的第二部分,学生通过观察书写练习。然后课堂呈现,读一读,写一写。
