Unit10 Buying a book 一、教学目标：

1、技能目标：

（1）以话题为线索，通过整体感知语境，抓关键词，句等方式培养学生泛读能力。

（2）基本了解more, the most引导的比较级，最高级句子的意思

2、知识目标：

（1）在插图的帮助下理解故事的主要内容

（2）初步掌握比较级，最高级句子的意思

3、情感目标：

让学生在活动中学会合作，培养学生学习兴趣，学会欣赏他人。

二、教学重点：

能够理解故事大意，能模仿录音，朗读人物对话，讲述故事主要内容。

三、教学难点：

故事内容的理解，比较级和最高级句型的理解和认读。

四、教具准备：

配套教学资源光碟，教学卡片，自制课件。

五、教学步骤：

1、Set the scene Ask the students if they like to read books. Find out which book is their favorite one.

T: Do you like books? What books do you like? Do you like story books or

science books? Why? Try to elicit words just like interesting, boring, difficult and exciting. 2、Guide in (1)Let students talk about their experience of buying books. Ask them where to buy. T: Have you ever bought books by yourself? Where do you buy books? Do you buy books online or at bookstore? (2)Guess: If Mocky wants to buy a book, where does he go? 3、Talk about the story (1)Play the video and let students find out what is happening? Where did they go? (2)Open the book, and turn to page 38. Look at P1, and check the answer. (They went to a bookstore.) P2: T: What book is it? (animal book) Did Ken like it? Why? (It’s interesting.)

Did Mocky like it? Why? (It’s boring.)

P3:What book is it?(comic book) Did Ann like it? Why?(It looks interesting.) Did Mocky like it? Why?(It’s more boring.)

P4: What book is it? (history book) Did Mocky like it? Why? (It’s difficult.)

P5: What book is it?(science book) Did Mocky like it? Why? (It’s more difficult.) P6-7: What book is it? (toy story) Did Mocky like it? Did they buy it? Why? (Yes. No. It’s expensive.)

P8-10: What book did Mocky like? Why?(Space book. It’s the most exciting book.) What did they buy at last? Was it expensive? 4、Tell the story (1)Play the video again. (2)Let the students talk about Mocky’s opinions about each book in the story. 5、Read the story (1)Let students read the story by themselves. (2)Let students read the story one sentence by one sentence following the recording. (3)Retell the story by clues on the blackboard. 6.Homewok Have the students write three sentences about their favorite books. What book is it? Why do you like it? How often do you read books after school?
