I. Revision

Review what they have learned last class----- how to make, accept and decline invitations politely. I will use three pictures to help them-----play basketball, play soccer, and a birthday cake. II. Learning aims 1. To learn the words and phrases: the day before yesterday, the day after

1) Ask students, “What day is it today ?”

2) And ask students, “ What’s the first day of a week?” to finish the calendar from Sunday to Saturday.

3) Practice “What day is it today / yesterday/ the day before yesterday/ tomorrow/ the day after tomorrow?” On the one hand, they can review “What day is it today ?”; on the other hand, I can teach new words,“the day before yesterday, the day after tomorrow”

4）Make good use of the calendar, explain “weekday and weekend”
