一、教材分析

本课是一节写作课。要求学生能够根据单元内容，尝试笔头的语言输出。3a的语篇填词不仅再次让学生在语境中练习比较级与最高级，还为接下来的写作提供了很好的范例。3b是为3c提供写作的框架和要点，也为学生介绍地方、描写事物打开了思路。整个过程由易到难，循序渐进，符合学生的认知规律。

二、教学目标

1．学会使用：

crowded。

2．掌握句型：（1）Greenwood Park is the best place to go to on weekends. （2）I think. . . is the best city in China because it is the most beautiful. 3．熟练掌握形容词和副词最高级的变化形式。

三、教学重难点

重点：熟练掌握形容词和副词最高级的变化形式。

难点：使用最高级描述自己的生活环境，并能用恰当的方式表达自己的看法

四、教学步骤

Step 1

Lead-in Where did you go on the weekend? Last weekend, I went to Yunjuhu Park.. Have you ever been there? What do you think of it? 【设计意图】

出示一些云居湖的照片，以本地区一个受欢迎的地区话题导入，切合学生生活实际。

Step 2

Pre-writing

Task 1: Work on 3a Read 3a and fill in the blanks. Then check your answers with your partners. Ask the students to read the passage together and find out the topic sentence and the conclusion sentence .then ask the students to answer a question. Why does the writer go to Greenwood Park? 1.

To meet friends. 2. To see the street performers. 3. To read or relax in one of the coffee shops near the park. 【设计意图】

这个问题能帮助学生理清文章脉络，为后续写作打下基础。

Task 2 Have a test Q1. Who’s the tallest professional basketball player in China?

Q2. Who runs the fastest in 110-meter hurdle race(跨栏) in China? Q3.What do you think is the best town in Shijiazhuang? 【设计意图】

通过这三个问题引出认为正定最好的地方从而导入3b.

Task 3 Work on 3b Talk about some of the best places in your town and why they are the best in groups. Draw a mind map at the same time. 【设计意图】

设置小组分享信息，主要是让学生可以借鉴更多的资源，帮助学生打开描述场所的思路，画思维导图让学生思路更清晰。

Step3 While-writing

Work on 3c finish the writing according to the mind map. Evaluate the students’ writing by themselves first . After that exchange in pairs and check it again . 【设计意图】

学生完成写作之后，首先自评，把作文评价标准展示在幻灯片上，让学生根据评价标准自查，纠正错误，学习作文自查的方法。然后两人同桌交换互评，可以纠正同桌作文中的错误，也可以大大提高学生参与写作的积极性。在此过程中，会产生大量的习得效应，有意义的写作知识的获取和写作技能的强化正是在此过程中出现的。

Step 4 Post-writing

Ask several students to show their work in front of the students. 【设计意图】

选出有代表性优秀的作品向学生展示。让学生阅读不同文章，促使学生产生思想火花的碰撞，激活他们的创造性思维，提高写作能力。可展示学生习作中的亮点，给学生分享作文中精彩表达的机会，提高学生写作兴趣。

Step 5

Make a summary 总结如何写有关自己家乡的文章，并引导学生总结出写作步骤（总—分—总）。

Step 6 Homework Discuss the cities in China with your partners.

For example: ① Which is the best city?

② ...has the best.. ....is the best because..

....is better than..., but...is the most... [设计意图] 通过同类作文的作业练习，让学生再次借鉴3a短文，完成习作，巩固本节课所学知识。

教学反思

我们在核查答案的时候，要更多地利用小组教学这种有效的教学模式。首先小组讨论时学生自主性强，做完即可以开始，不必等待全班同学。其次小组核对时学生主人翁意识更强，不会害羞，在发表自己的观点，最后小组讨论修正后，学生的正确率更高，满足他们的成就。
