Town cinema is the most expensive. (2)

Ability Aims

(能力目标) Train students’ abilities of using language. Guide students to discuss preferences. Make comparisons. Develop the abilities of thinking independently and pair-discussion. (3)

Emotional Aims

(情感目标) Make students be interested in English. Enable students to do more activities in their free time. 3.

Teaching key points and difficult points (1)

Key points Master the new words, phrases, sentences and use them in English. (2)

Difficult points Enable students to make a dialogue to talk about their favorite things. Make comparisons and improve their oral speaking. Part2. The analysis of teaching students

(学情分析)

For Grade-8-student, they have learned English for several years so far. But they are still curious about new things and have a strong desire to learn better. However, their English learning levels are different from each other. They need teachers’ help and encouragement in their further studying. So in my class, I’ll give them more encouragement and make them build up confidence. Part3. Teaching methods (教法)

Studying paper Multimedia computer assisted instruction Task-based activities Situation approach Part4. Studying ways (学法) Help the students to learn to study independently with the studying paper. Learn to discuss in groups to solve the problems. Encourage the students to communicate and cooperate with others. Part5. Teaching procedures (教学过程) I design my class into 7 steps. Before class, I’ll divide the students into 6 groups and bring a competition into the class. After class, I’ll give the winners some gifts. I think they will take an active part in class and pay more attention to the class. Step1. Greeting and Lead-in

(This part I’ll use 3 minutes)

Show the students pictures about the cinemas. At the same time, I’ll give them a task---to find out their favorite one among the pictures. I think they will be interested in it. And the class will be interesting.

Step2.Review

(This part I’ll use 5 minutes)

Students will answer the question by themselves. This part can train their ability of Self-study.

At the same time, I’ll find out some mistakes from them. And then explain to them.

Step3.Game time

(This part I’ll use 5 minutes) In order to improve their ability of cooperation, students should talk about the language points, discuss the problems in groups and make sure the answers. Step4.Ask&Answer

(This part I’ll use 15 minutes) I’ll explain some key points and difficult points. So they can understand the knowledge better. By this, They will get good grades in the test. Step5.Show times

(This part I’ll use 5 minutes) The speaker of each group show the answers to all the students. This part can train their ability of expression. Step6. Make a dialogue

(This part I’ll use 5 minutes) Find two things and talk about your preferences and give the reason .This can improve their oral speaking. Step7. Summary and Homework

(This part I’ll use 2 minutes) Summarize what we have learned in the class. Students will have a review of what we’ve learned this class. I want to train their oral English. Homework is write a composition to your pen pal, talk about your favorite things . Step8. Teaching introspection Students should practice more to grasp the grammar in this unit. Some students can’t use the grammar in correct ways, so we must pay more attention to ding more exercises.
