Unit6 Happy birthday! Step1：Warm－up Greeting: T: Class begins! Hello, boys and girls! Ss: Hello, Miss Xiao. T: How are you? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m fine, too. Sit down please.

Free talk: T: Do you want to make new friends? Today we have a new friend .He is Mickey. (教师拿出Mickey的头像)Let’s sing a song to welcome him.

T: First time follow me. (老师先教一遍) Now let’s sing to the music. Stand up, please. (播放歌曲“How old are you?”全班边唱歌曲边做动作.) 设计意图：歌曲“How old are you?”简单上口再加上动作既能起到课前热身的作用，也让孩子们对How old are you?这个句子有所感知，降低了学习句子的难度

Step2：Leading in T: Today is Mickey’s birthday. Do you know birthday?

S1: 生日

T: Yes！带读birthday I r/ ə:/ t h/θ/ birth day And it’s Sam’s birthday，too. He is going to have a birthday party. Would you like to join him? (你们想加入吗？) Ss: Yes! T: Great！ There are many gifts. And this class you will have a competition between G1, G2 and G3. Each group tries your best to get them and send them to Sam. Let’s see which group can send the most gifts to Sam. OK？

Ss: OK! Step3：Presentation 1.

T: Look! Many friends come to the party.（门铃响）Who is coming?

Now let’s come to round 1. Watch the video and answer the questions.

3.回归课本P61 （1）翻开课本全班听录音跟读B部分let’s talk的内容。

设计意图：通过创设在生日派对上结交新的朋友的情境，达到让学生们在实际情形下运用所学知识的目的。

Step5: Consolidation Sing the song: Happy birthday! T: Today Sam is very happy. Are you happy, too? Now let’s sing the song “Happy birthday!” together. Stand up, please.

Step6: Summing up/Homework: 1、Evaluate the performance of each group. 2、用我们学过的句子去其它班上交3个新朋友。

七、教学反思：

通过创设米奇过生日情境，进一步学习Sam过生日，学生过度较快。虽然情境设计的完整，但是我自己反思仍有不足。第一，学生对米奇的英文名字不熟悉，读起来有些生疏，这里换一个跟贴近学生生活的动画人物更容易说出口。第二，学生在游戏环节纪律较，老师加上小组评价就有利于控制课堂。第三，老师课堂上的个别指令语言需要简单化，学生更容易接受。第四，在最后加上整体的评价不够完整。
