Look at the pictures in 1a, and ask Ss what information can they get from the picture? Ss can answer like this: I can see a man shooting some suns.

2.then read the names of the story in the box.

3. ask Ss to discuss with their partners and match the names of the stories with the pictures.

Step5. Listening

1. T: Tell Ss they will hear a great Chinese traditional story. Listen and see who know the name of the story.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen.

3. Ss who know the name of the story may hand up.

4. Play the recording again. Let Ss check the facts they hear.
