一、教学目标：

1、知识与技能：学生掌握词汇Australia,了解澳大利亚的相关知识，并能够运用所学语言进行相关内容的交流。

过程与方法：学生主要利用教师提供的资源进行自学和与教. 2、师和学生进行交流，通过这个过程提高学生的英语学习能力。

3、情感态度与价值观：了解澳大利亚相关知识，激发学生对异国风情的求知欲，使学生开拓视野，放眼世界。

二、教学重点：

了解澳大利亚的相关知识，运用所学语言与他人进行相关内容的交流。

三、教学难点：

综合运用所学语言与他人进行相关内容的交流。

Step 1、

Warming up and Rreview

1.Sing a song

教师播放歌曲课件，,让学生边做动作，边演唱歌曲.

2.Ask and answer：（1）用What country is it?，What’s the capital city of China/Canada/The US?等问题复习前三个国家

（2）出示表格，首先以教师提问学生回答的形式完成第一个国家China.

What’s the capital city of China? It’s Beijing. What do we speak? We speak Chinese.

等。接着让学生讨论并拖动鼠标，完成课件中其他三个国家的复习。

形象直观的课件，使学生在趣味游戏中复习了所学知识。）

Stap 2 、

New Concepts

1:

Lesson hook. A,Watch videos of Australia,B,Study the new words；Australia C,Talk about Australia.

？What is famous in Australia? D,Listen to the text and answer the questions in pairs. E,Have a dialogue in pairs

2：The students read the text and think about some questions jusk like these:The capital city of Australia is Canberra. They speak

English. Australia has beautiful beaches and kangaroos.and so on。3：Read after the tape and have some practices(PPT )

(1)，Read the text in many ways. (2)Practise 通过跟读，纠正学生的发音，培养学生良好的语感。通过练习，检查学生对重点内容的理解和掌握情况。

4:

综合运用，Talk about Australia. 给学生可供参考的句式，以帮助那些学习有困难的学生。

Stap 3. Learn more about Australia课外延伸

教师提供学习资源网站，让学生上网学习更多的有关澳大利亚的知识。如Sydney Opera House,悉尼歌剧院，

more animals ,coala，more pictures of Australia

等。

课后让学生针对自己感兴趣的内容进行交流。

Talk about the country you like with your partner，write some sentences.达到学以致用。
