（第一课时）

1、 Class Opening Greeting [激情问候，营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围]

Good morning/afternoon, class! Where do we live? 2、Review

利用问答操练复习有关国家的词汇。教师提出以下问题：

What country is this?

Do you know the capital city of this country?（让学生指着地图回答）

What do they speak in this country?

Step2 New Concepts

1、Demonstrate

（1）用地图来演示Australia

（2）讲解：Australia（澳大利亚）。单词的首字母要大写。

（3）讨论：你知道澳大利亚的什么？

讨论：谁见过课文中的这些图片？在那儿见过？

1、播放课文录音，让学生一边听一边整体感知课文。

2、再听，教师板书生词，引导拼读，讲解词意并反复领读。

3、指名说一说课文的意思。

4、教师讲解课文，并领读学生不会的单词。

5、教师领读课文。

6、请小老师领读课文。

7、学生自由练习课文。

8、指名朗读，师生共同评议、正音。

9、以小组为单位，介绍澳大利亚。

Step4、检查学生掌握情况

指名上台用英语描述澳大利亚。

Step5、布置作业 用所学词汇描述澳大利亚。

第二课时

Step1 Class Opening and review

1、 Class Opening Greeting [激情问候，营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围]

Good morning/afternoon, class! Where do we live? 2、Review

利用问答操练复习有关国家的词汇。教师提出以下问题：

What country is this?

Do you know the capital city of this country?（让学生指着地图回答）

What do they speak in this country? Step2：练习

1、把学生分成五组，一组住在美国，另一组住在中国，一组住在加拿大，另一组住在英国，一组住在澳大利亚，教师先和某一组在一起，然后和另一组站在一起。引导学生进行如下对话：

教师：What country is this?学生：China/the U.S.／Canada/the U.K.／Australia

教师： Where do they live?

学生： China/ the U.S. ／Canada/the U.K.／Australia

教师：（指着另一组）Where do they live?

学生：China/ the U.S. ／Canada/the U.K.／Australia

教师：What do they speak?

学生：Chinese/English

教师：We speak but…

学生：We speak but they speak

教师：Where is the capital city of this country?（教师指着地图）

学生：…

…
