Lesson 10：The U.K Teaching aims: 1、知识目标：学习“the U.K.”以及关于英国的相关常识。

2、能力目标：可以读、写、说出并且听懂“the U.K.”，能用英语向他人介绍有关英国的知识。

3、情感目标：激发学生对英语的持久兴趣，培养运用语言进行交际的能力，了解中西文化的差异。

Teaching Process: Step1:Greeting and review

1.Show the map of the U.K. Teacher ask the questions like this:

T:What is it?

S:This is a map of the U.K. T: What country is it? (出示英国地图，并教授the United Kingdom.) 2.T: what do you want to know about the United Kingdom? Talk them such as : the capital city, language, places of interest, the U.K’s flag and others. Teacher helps students know about the U.K . （1）Beijing is the capital city of China. This is the capital city of the U.K. (指向英国地图上伦敦) What is the capital city of the U.K? Can you say it in Chinese or in English? London is the capital city of the U.K. （introduce London to students）
