本课时为八年级上册新目标人教版Unit3 I’m more outgoing than my sister 的第一课时，其教学内容主要围绕用形容词或副词的比较级描述个性特征的差异展开教学，要求学生能掌握所出现的词汇及能熟练运用比较级句型结构，能用本节课所学的句型对人的外貌及性格特征做对比，通过对第一课时的学习，现将教学反思做如下总结：

1. 本节课的优点

联系上学期所学的what does he look like?单元中，从形容词long, short, thin, heavy入手，复习旧知引入新知，导入自然，从词到句，符合基本的教学规律，大多数的词汇从句中来学习，克服了学生的心理障碍，教学设计紧扣主题环环相连，设计思路有新意。教学中让学生自学培养了学生的自学能力和信心，给学生充足的时间和空间，让他们有充分的思考时间。通过自学，讨论，交流学习之后总结归纳好，强化次数多，形式也具有多样化。幻灯片制作形象直观，符合学生的思维，学生容易找到规律，让学生进行小组学习交流培养了学生的合作学习能力和处理问题的能力，练习的及时性和有效性体现出学生对知识点的掌握情况，听力围绕教材运用教材，听力训练的处理是一大亮点。既强化本节课的重点又突破了难点，同时也调动了学生的积极性及学习英语的良好兴趣。

2. 本节课的不足及建议

教学容量大密度高，比较级的变化和句型学习后应及时的运用和巩固加以大量的训练，对于优等生能有很大的提高和帮助，但对于中等及偏下等的学生的关注及提高还等待加强，要强调突出练习和听说，把语法贯穿在听和说中就更好，此外由于学生下午上课比较疲劳，教学的调控上还需改进，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，使教学状态再次提高。

总之：通过本课时的教学，让我认识到了自己许多的长处和不足，今后要不断的向经验丰富的教师们多学习，还要不断的学习理论和先进的教育教学方法，不断完善和提高自己，努力使自己在教育教学上成长起来，争取取得更佳的进步！

我的这节课教学设计有创意，教学思路清晰，整节课教学重点和难点把握得当，强化到位。听力材料的处理及训练是本节课的亮点，同时也有效地锻炼了学生的口语表达和听说能力。培养学生合作探究学习的能力，调动了学生自主学习的积极性，教师们给予了肯定的评价，是一节很实在而有效的课。
