Ⅰ. Lead-in

. Lead in new words by using computer：comfortable seats, big screens, best sound, cheap, new movies, close to home, buy tickets quickly, popular…

Ⅱ. Presentation Present superlative forms of adjective and adverb by using some real objects.

Ⅲ.Practice Ask and answer questions by using some pictures

Ⅳ. Listening 1b 1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and match the statement with the right movie theaters.

3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.

Ⅴ. Pair work 1c 1. Let Ss read the model with a partner.

2. Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask and answer with a partner.

3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart.

Ⅵ. Listening

Work on 2a:

1. Read the questions and answers in 2a. Tell Ss to remember the information.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the boy’s answers.
