Look, this is Danny. Listen, Danny introduce himself. Hello, my name is Danny. I live in Canada. I speak English and French. Can you introduce yourself like Danny. Let’s two guides give reports to introduce China and Canada.分别出示关于中国和加拿大的幻灯片，地图、语言、首都、位置、风景名胜。学生自愿当导游介绍中国和加拿大。

设计目的：通过歌曲活跃课堂气氛，复习方向名词及副词。通过两个中国导游和加拿大导游的概述复习第10、11课所学知识。

学生搜集有关美国的信息，由小组记录。各小组推荐学生介绍美国。

设计目的：通过小组讨论整合关于信息资源，激发学生学习欲望，为下一步学习做铺垫，学生学会求知。

Step3出示本课生词、词组，学生齐读找到不熟悉的，听有道词典纠正发音。

Step4听录音，跟读，结合问题，小组合作阅读、检查、讨论找到答案，同时出示幻灯片关于本课重点问题。

The capital city：Washington，D.C. Flag：red white and blue stars and stripes Represent things（名胜）：the White House Statue of Liberty 设计目的：通过设计问题，让学生带着问题自己解决。体现了学生在课堂上的主题地位，激发了他们学习热情。在进行大量听说训练，以加强所学知识的记忆。在老师的带领下学生要学会学习。

Step5 What colour is the flag of the U.S.? There are some flags of the U.S. Colour them. 设计目的：让学生亲自动手给国旗涂色加深学生对国旗的记忆。

Step6 Let go’on a trip to the U.S.出示美国、加拿大、中国三个国家的风景名胜，让学生辨认出那些是美国的。

Step7 出示美国、加拿大、中国的地图，把不同国家所讲语言、及地图名称连线。

设计目的：进一步熟练地图形状及语言。

Step8谁能争当美国导游，参看幻灯片介绍美国，出示美国的地图、语言、位置、首都、风景名胜。从第5步到第8步展示学生的学习成果，要培养学生之间的共处。

Step9布置作业：

1、人人争当美国小导游，把美国的信息写成一段话，练习熟练。

2、搜集有关英国的资料。
