Step 1 Revision Ask about the TV shows. Step 2 Lead-in First ask students what TV shows they like. And then talk about them. Step 3 Role-play the conversation First ask teo students to act out the conversation and them make their own conversations.

This step helps them improve their oral English. Step 3 Grammar focus Read the sentences together and help students to summarize the grammar. Step 4 practice

First show some sentences in 3a and ask students to fill in the blans with the TV show words. Complete the questions with the TV show words. Step 5 pair work Firstly, ask some of the students to say sentences using the given words. Secondly, ask others to answer. Then ask each of the students to write questions. Ask and answer with a partner. One asks, the other answers, and then ask them to give a report. Step 6 A survey The teacher first ask students some questions: Do you to watch a movie? Do you hope to watch a sitcome? Do you expect to watch the news? Do you plan to watcha sports show? Some students would say like this: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. Step 7 Summary Help students know when and how to use the present tense. Step 8 Homework Finish the exercises in workbook. Recite the sentences in GF.
