Unit3 How do seeds travel? Lesson11 一、教学目标:
1. 能听懂,会说,认读wheat, others, in water, with people and animals, with wind, with bird等相关的单词和词组,并能够描述种子的不同传播方式。
2. 能够正确理解对话内容并跟随录音模仿课文对话。
3. 通过本课课文,引导学生关注生活,细心观察,进一步激发学生探索自然世界的兴趣。
二、教学重难点:
1、能听懂、会说关于植物种子的作用和种子传播途径的表达方式,
能用英语描述并在日常生活中应用。
2、能正确朗读课文,并能转述对话内容。
3、能听懂关于植物种子传播途径的表达方式。
4、能用英语描述生活中常见植物的种子传播方式。

PPT,多媒体
五、教学过程:
(一)Warming up
1.出示一幅有植物的图片引出,图片中植物的各个部分,让学生在老
师的提问下回答问题,从而引出本课的话题“种子”。
T:What is this?
S: It is a plant.
T: Do you know :what’s the English for the different parts of a plant?
S: They are the roots, the stem, the leaves, the flower and the seeds.
T: What do the roots/stem/ leaves/flower/seeds do ?
S: Roots hold the plant in the ground…
T: Do you know what are seeds? Can you give me an example?
S:….
T: Ok, now let’s watch the cartoons and then tell me what are seeds.
(二)学习对话
1.出示课文图片,学生观察图片并回答问题:
T: Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? S:…
T: Can you see there are many foods in the picture: What food can you see?
(初步教读Wheat 和rice,学生有所感知)
2. 学习对话1 1)T: Can you guess what are they talking about?
Let’s watch the cartoon and then tell me. 学生回答问题:What are they talking about?引出Seeds
2)教师继续追问:What are seeds?播放图1对话找出答案
S: Corn is a kind of seeds
Some nuts are seeds
Wheat and rice are both seeds. 3)联系生活,出示上面几种seeds 图片,以及在生活中的用途
3.学习对话2,了解种子的传播方式
1).教师出示一些种子图片,提出问题:How do seeds travel?
2).学生自读对话2,回答问题
3). 教师出示图文,帮助学生理解对话2
