Step1: warm-up 1. Greeting: T: Class begins. Good morning boys and girls! S: Good morning Miss Zhao T: Sit down,please! Today we’re going to learn a new lesson. Module 2 Unit 2. Are you ready? S: Go! 2. Say a chant T: Now let’s say a chant together. Clap hands with your partner,Ok? S: Yes! “Here’s a monkey”

T: In last lesson, Daming and Sam are in the zoo. There are many animals.

Look, what’s this?...what are they? S: It’s a/an ... They’re... 3. Lead in T: Today Daming and Sam go to a circus (). Let’s follow them and see the show. (播放A1动画) T: What is the show about? 这是什么表演？Yes it’s a stilts show. This is a man. (根据背景图讲解单词，学生按排读男女读，板书Man) T: Look at this word “all”

（学生读出）and this one is “tall”. It means...(用手势做出高的动作)。（学生跟读，顺序读，男女读）

T: （做出矮的动作讲授short）

Step2:Task presentation 全体学生能够掌握新单词tall, short, fat, thin, big, small, 复习this和that的用法，能够描述人或动物的形态特征。

Step3: Text learning 1.Listen to the tape for the first time. Find what are the men and monkeys like. (出示图片，让学生选序号并讲授新单词) 2.Listen to the tape for the second time. 将图片与描述特征的句子做连线, 复习this和that的用法

3. Listen to the tape for the third time. 听并跟读，自主朗读，分角色读，齐读
