本课是外研版三起四下第五模块的第一单元。是学生第一次接触过去式，教材分析

其情景是Amy、Lingling一起欣赏Lingling祖父母年轻时和现在的照片以及Lingling两岁时的照片，并以现在和过去人物部分特征的对比来呈现过去式，并在这种情景的对比中让学生初步感知过去式。

四年级孩子经过前三年的英语学习，有了一定的基础。他们已经能够通学情分析

过听音获取所需要的信息，也能够通过观察图片来提取信息，同时可以使用学习过的简单语言结构去对图片或情境进行简单的描述。

功能：用过去式简单描述照片（_____was/were_____then.）

语言知识

词汇:was,then,were,young,old,hair,short,long, so,grandparents. 听：能听懂故事的大意。

说：在情境中会对比用（_____was/were_____then.）描述教学目标

语言技能

过去的照片，同时用（____is/are______）描述人物现在的情况。

读：能认读was,then,were,young,old,hair,short,long, Grandparents,so. They were young then. Now they are old. I was two then. Your hair was so short. Now my hair is long. You were so cute. But I was very naughty too.
