一、教材分析：

这是新目标英语(Go for it)八年级上册第四单元的内容。本节课主要复习形容词和副词的比较等级的用法。这节课的重点是写作。首先完成3a任务，让学生了解如何介绍身边的场所。在完成3b时，可以用“教师提问、学生回答”的方式，复习如何表达哪家是最好的电影院（服装店、广播电台）以及原因，然后让学生根据自己的喜好填写表格。这样既能对已学知识有所复习，又能让学生找准写作的方向，然后顺理成章地完成3c的写作。

二、学情分析: 本课时通过构建学生熟悉的场景，引导学生学习并使用形容词和副词的比较级和最高级，内容贴近学生生活，所以能极大地提高学生的学习兴趣和积极性。本节课的语言学习内容就是用形容词和副词的比较级和最高级表达心中最好的超市、书店、服装店等。

在前几课时学习的基础上，我整合了本课的重难点，由易到难一步步进行集中练习，即安排了游戏、个体操练、集体操练，也安排了小组合作学习及口语、听力、阅读、写作等训练，旨在分解难度，使学生做起来显得比较顺手。

要求学生在课前已进行了充分的自主预习，熟练掌握了本课时的重点词汇短语，尝试用本单元的目标语言准备自己的对话练习，做好了本节课该有的知识储备，所以学生上课展示时应该感觉任务难度不大，充满自信，从而取得较好的课堂效果。

三、教学目标：

1．知识目标：

1).复习形容词及副词的最高级的构成规则。掌握生词crowded。

2）理解并掌握句型：“Greenwood Park is the best place to go to on weekends.”

2．能力目标：运用形容词和副词的最高级来描写自己所在城镇的最好地方或事物。

3. 情感目标：指导学生了解自己的家乡，热爱自己的家乡。

1. 重点：能运用所学的形容词或副词的最高级，根据提示来完成选词填空的任务。

2. 难点：能运用所学的形容词或副词的最高级来描写自己周围的一些地点或事物。

七、教学过程：

Step I. Warming up

Greetings. Playing a game (Let’s have a PK.) Divide students into four teams and show them some questions. Four teams will have a race. According to the questions, the team that give the right answer for the question will get one point.

设计意图：通过问候，师生进行初步的情感交流，营造氛围; 通过游戏的方式活跃课堂气氛，，调动学生学习兴趣。进一步领会新句型的语言情境及运用。

Step II. Learning aims Show students learning aims and ask them read together. 设计意图：让学生明确本节课的学习任务，利于学习目标的达成。

Step III. Lead-in 1. T: What’s your favorite place to go on weekends? Why is it? 2. Speaking practice. Let students talk about in pairs. Let students work in pairs to practice the topic. Then check the work in lines, students ask and answer one by one.

e.g. The Children’s Center is the best place to go on weekends. Because I can play

tennis and play ping-pong. I can speak English with friends.

设计意图：通过贴近学生生活的讨论导入本课的阅读及话题。通过对已学知识的巩固及真实的情景使学生容易学会如何表达并容易接受所要学的新知识。

Step IV. Listening

1. Part 3a. Listen to the article and answer the question. 2. Check the answer. 设计意图：通过回答问题的方式使学生能够很好地把所听到的听力信息用目标语言表达出来，培养学生运用语言知识的能力。

Step V. Reading

1. Part 3a. Read the article and try to fill in the blanks.

2. Check the answers with the Ss. 3. Read the article and find out:

(1). the topic sentence (主题句): Greenwood Park is the best place to go to on weekends. (2)the supporting sentences(支持句): can meet friends. 2) can see the most creative street performers

Step VI. Look and say

Show students some pictures ask them to express their thoughts about the best places or things in the town. I think the best supermarket is_______. Because it is /has the ___________. (the most popular, the cleanest, the cheapest, the closest to home … )

I think the best book store is________. Because it is /has the ___________. (the cheapest, the best service, the best books, the closest to …, the biggest… )

设计意图：用学生们熟悉的城市图片来作训练，吸引学生兴趣，让学生们自觉融入到课堂中，使课堂内容丰富有趣。同时通过话题训练为下面的写作做好了铺垫。

Step VII. Group work

Part 3b. Ask students to discuss in groups of four to think about some of the best places/things in your town. Why are they the best? 设计意图：通过讨论，熟悉内容，为下一步写作做好铺垫。

Step VIII. Writing Write about your town and the best places/things there.

本节课的教学设计每一个环节紧紧相扣，层层递进，突出了本节课的重点，

同时一步一步地突破了难点，教学方法多种多样，学生也表现得很出色，我认为有以下几点做得比较成功：

1. 导入自然。设计游戏来热身，同时复习形容词和副词的比较等级的用法。既活跃了气氛，激发了学生的学习兴趣，又让学生在不知不觉中轻松地进入到了本节课的学习中。

2. Look and say活动中，对最高级进一步进行操练时，设置了本地的几家书店及超市的照片，贴近学生生活的照片能引起学生兴趣，更有利于知识的掌握。

3. 以小组竞赛的方式活跃了课堂气氛，激发了学生的竞争和合作意识。促使学生进一步领会所创设的语言情境及语言知识的运用，在轻松愉快的气氛中夯实基础。

4. 听前介绍听力背景，为听力做好充分准备和铺垫。通过回答问题的方式使学生能够很好地集中注意力，把所听到的听力信息用目标语言表达出来，培养学生运用语言知识的能力，同时提高了学生的听力技能。

5. Part 4中的拓展对话让同学们展示了各自的风采，同时练习了本节课的目标语言，形式简单，活学活用。

当然，本堂课也存在一些不足之处。

1.授课过程中课时把握上做的不太好，整节课的教学中，学生说得多，读的多，写的时间有些少，一小部分同学课堂写作未能完成。

2. 由于网速不稳定，希沃教学助手使用中，板书不够流畅，导致白板上的书写不够清晰。

以后的教学中，对优点会继续保持，对于不足要努力改进，以利于提高教学效果，提升自己的教学水平。
