Lesson13 Beijing is Great!

一、教材分析：

本课是冀教版三年级起第五册《Lesson 13 Beijing Is Great!》。。在本课中，Li Ming 计划去北京旅行并邀请Jenny和Danny一起去。要求学生能就旅行进行对话和用英语介绍北京。

二、教学目标：

1．知识目标

1）正确地说、读、写、用下列单词

Travel, Beijing, love, interesting, place

2）能理解并能运用下列句子

a. I love to travel!

b. I want to go to ____.

c. I want___ and ___to come.

2. 能力目标

1) 能运用所学句型根据旅行说几句话。

2) 能简单描述北京。

3. 情感目标：

使学生体会北京的伟大，增强对北京对祖国的热爱之情。

三、教学重难点：

教学重点：本课的单词、句子。

教学难点：能够就旅行展开话题，运用英语介绍北京。

四、教学过程：

Class Opening and lead in

1、Greeting：Hello，

boys and girls. How are you today?

2、

Lead in：出示一些著名景点，让学生猜测它们是哪里的景点，引出课题。并询问是否愿意去北京？

3、Learn new words and sentences:出示图片，教授单词travel，

love, interesting, place以及句型

I love to travel! I want to go to ____. Beijing is ______.

（创设情景，使学生更好地理解新知，有助于激发学生的学习兴趣。）

4、Practice in pairs Ask and answer: Do you love to travel? Where do you want to go? Who do you want to go with?

(为学生提供练习所学单词和句型的机会。)

5．T: I know Li Ming wants to go to Beijing，too. Let’s look. 出示问题，播放多媒体课件，学生带着问题听录音。然后回答问题检查学生的理解情况。

问题为：Fill in the blanks.

3、I want ( ) and ( ) to come, too.

4、T: We want to go on a trip to Beijing. Li Ming wants to go to Beijing, too. Why? S:….

T: Because Beijing in great! 播放课文课件，学生学习，找出Beijing为什么好。

出示Beijing的相关图片，请同学介绍。

5、T: Yes, Beijing is very good. But do you know there are many other good places in Beijing ? 出示课件，教师向学生介绍北京其他重要的景点和建筑the Great Wall，Beijing Zoo，university，Beihai Park，the Temple of Heaven等等和Bird’s Nest，Water Cube等。

6．T: We know Beijing Olympic games is very successful. Now many foreign friends like to come to China. Do you want to be a volunteer to introduce Beijing or China to them?

学生扮演外国朋友和志愿者编排对话，然后进行展示。

7、Homework: (1). Make sentences using new words. (2).Use English to introduce famous places in Beijing.
