Hello! Good morning boys and girls! How are you? Now, look at the world map, please talk about where do your family live?

Step 2: Presentation The teacher put on the map of China, and ask the students: “Where is the capital city of China? Who can answer this question?”

The student A answers: “Beijing!”

The teacher:”Yes! Very good! And who can tell me the places of interest in Beijing?”

The student B answers:”the Tian’ anmen Square, the Palace Museum, the Great Wall and so on.”

The teacher:”Excellent! Ok, let’s read these new words, read after

me.”

The teacher and the students read these new words again and again. Then the teacher gives the students five minutes to read the passage carefully. Step 3: Practice The teacher devides the students into three groups and let the students use the structure “This is …” to introduce the places of interest in China. Which group can introduce quickly and correctly will get a star. Step 4: Homework

Let the students recite the new words and use the structure to make more sentences.
