PEP小学五年级英语上Unit1What’s he like? PartA Let’s learn教学设计

一、教材分析:

这节课主要是学习描述人物体貌特征及性格特点的五个形容词,以及询问人物外貌及其回答的句子。

二、教学目标:

(1)知识目标:能听、说、读、写单词

“old”,“young”,

“funny”,“kind”,和“strict”。

(2)能在创设的实际情景中灵活运用句型“Who’s your art / English / maths / science / music / …

teacher?”,“Is he / she young / old / funny / kind /

strict

/ …?”,并作相应回答,根据所提供的图片进行简单的英语交流和表演则是本课的能力目标。

(3)情感目标:主要是为了培养学生尊敬、热爱老师的情感。

三、教学重点:在情境中学习新单词,掌握新单词的正确发音。

四、教学难点:能利用教材提供的对话情景,进行模仿,创新。

五、学情分析:五年级学生活泼好动,有着极强的求知欲和表现欲,对游戏、竞赛有着较浓厚的兴趣,所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生良好的学习习惯。

六、教法学法

根据小学生好动、爱表现的特点,本课我将采用以下教学方法:

1.听说法

八、教学过程:

Step1:Warm up

1、Greeting and follow the teacher. (Stand up. Sit down. Sit straight.) 2、Let’s enjoy a song.《Who’s your English teacher?》

3、Show pictures and say. (出示学生熟悉的老师照片) T:Who’s this man/ woman?

S:He/ She is our……

S:What’s he/she like? T:He’s/She’s……

4、Ask and answer in pairs.(学生拿出自己准备的老师画像,展示对话。)

Step 2.Presentation 1.

T:I am your English teacher now.Do you know what I like to do? I like playing games.Do you want to play games with me? 2.

Game1:说出反义词.

T:Opposite! Opposite!Go! Go! Go! T: Long hair, long hair.

T: She is old.Follow me.old old.Then we have these: cold hold old.She is old ,but you are very young. And Mr Johns is young,too.出示Yes yellow yummy,渗透语音,练习/y/的发音。教学old和young. T:Who is young in your family? Who is old in your famly?

(学生谈论关于家庭成员的一些情况)。

Game3: Gussing game. 1)

T:He is a man . What’s he like? Is he young/old/thin/tall/short?You can ask me? Guess.让学生猜测并大声的表达,最后呈现小沈阳的滑稽漫画。

T:So he is young. And he is short.Yeah,he is very funny.Follow me. Fun funny.教学

2)T:So next one ,what’s she like?Sorry,you can’t see the picture clearly.But don’t worry,I know the answer.You can ask me,What’s she like?I will tell you.教学句型What’s she like?,让学生运用句型来询问并悄悄的告诉四个学生。

T: Let’s ask together.What’s she like?Who can tell us?请刚才知道答案的学生来回答。

T:She is tall.She is young. She is pretty.And she is kind.Look!Who is she?She is

MissSun.She is very kind,呈现孙老师的图片,并教学单词kind. T:Miss Sun is very young.And Miss Sun is kind ,too.Who is kind in our class?And show us. 3)出示丁校长的照片。

T:The next one .The man is in our school.What’s he like? Look! He is the head teacher Ding.He is strict.教学单词

strict. T:Is MissLiu/MissSun strict?.... S:Yes,she is./No,she isn’t. Work in pairs.Then show out. 5.Do you know Mr Johns.He is ZhangPeng’s art teacher.He is young.What about ZhangPeng’s other teachers?What are they like? Let’s listen and repeat.播放动画,学生跟读。Then ask and answer in pairs. 6. 创设情境,模仿朗读。

1)T:Who is his art tracher?

Ss: Mr Zhao.

T:What’s he like?

Ss:He is thin and short.

T:Is he kind?

Ss:Yes, he is. 2)操练对话

T:XieNa comes to our class today,too.She wants to interview our classmate,so this time I want you to make a dialogue. Step3: Consolidation

Group work:任选其一,组内活动。

a.学校里新来了一位年轻漂亮的音乐老师,请用Who is she? What’s she like? Is she…?She’s…等互相讨论这位新教师的性格特点和外貌特征。

b.根据实际情况运用句型Who’s your…teacher?What’s she/he like? She’s..等讨论自己最喜欢的教师,主要讨论性格特点及外貌特征。

上台展示。

Step 4.Homework

1.用自己喜欢的方式认读单词,并会拼写。

2 .用英语向家人介绍你喜欢的老师,主要描述外貌及性格。
