Step 1 Lead-in 1. Greet the class. T: How are you today?

Let’s go on to learn “Unit 9 Can you come to my party ?”

Section B 1a to 1f. So, please turn to page 68. 2. Lead-in T: -What day is it today? -It's Tuesday. Step 2 Presentation 1. Let students look at the words in the blackboard, and read after the teacher.

2. T: Now write the dates for this week on the calendar. Then

look at the words in 1b. I'll ask students to write these words below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a. 3. Practice the conversation in 1c.

-What's today?? -It's Tuesday the 18th. 设计意图：热身活动的目的是创设相关的教学情景，引导学生在短时间内投入课堂教学活动，迅速进入思维活动状态。

Step 3 Listening 1. Fast-Listening 运用多媒体播放教材1d & 1e 的听力，让学生对听力内容有一定的了解。

2. Careful-Listening 运用多媒体再次播放听力，完成教材1d &1e的教学。

设计意图：通过由易到难,由浅入深的教学方式，在老师的引导下完成教学任务，从而达到听说教学目的。

Step 4 Role-play 1. Practice in groups in 1f.

通过4-5人一组，合作讨论，完成教材1f的教学。

2. Repeat the content. 设计意图：通过对1f合作的表演练习，能有效地巩固本节课所学的知识，同时也培养他们的合作意识，真正地提高

他们的听说能力。

在本节课里，通过机械的练习，通过交际活动编对话的方式，让学生熟练日期和星期的询问和回答。注重各个层次的学生，把课堂交给学生，让学生成为课堂的主人，真正地享受课堂的同时也发展听说读写的能力。
