Module 3 Unit 1 I like football

Teaching aims; 1,Let the students master the new words; like, football, basketball, table tennis, morning exercise. 2,Let the students master the key sentences; I like football. I don’t like football. 3, Let the students know; whatever you do, If you keep it up, you will achieve success.

Important and difficult points; The important points are the new words and the key sentences. The difficult point is let the students using English in real life.

Teaching schedules; Step 1；Warming up Let the students enjoy a song .

Then show the students some pictures of animals, and present these sentences: lions are big; cats are small;monkeys are short;elephants are tall; pandas are fat. Then look at the flash of part 1, and chant together. Step 2; Lead in Firstly, show the students the pictures of the animals , and lead in the new sentences“I like...”and “I don’t like...”.

Secondly, let the students practise the new sentences. Step 3; Presentation Ask the students a question“I like pandas, what does the panda like? Let’s look at the flash,and find the answer.”Then, show the flash of the first sentences. And present the new word “football”, let the students read “football”and pass the football one by one. Then teach the sentences “I like football”.Look at the flash of the second sentences,and teach “I don’t like football”

Then make the students say“I like football”or“I don’t like football”,and make a pose one by one.

Then teach basketball, table tennis, morning exercise just like I teach them football. Step 4, Practise. Task 1,Guessing

Show the students some pictures, but they just can see a part of them. And they can guess what ball they are？

Task 2, Flip side Practise in pairs.

If A says “I like football.”,B must say “I don’t like football.”

Task 3,I say you do. Practise in groups of four students. One student say “I like football.” the others must make poses. Step 5, Homework 1,Listen and read the text. 2,practise“I like...”and“I don’t like...”
