一、教材分析

本单元的学习内容主要是学生了解节目的种类，再此基础上谈论自己对这些节目的看法。同时学会掌握动词不定式做宾语的运用。 本部分在Section A所输入语言知识的基础上，利用表格的形式梳理出本单元的语法学习要点。从语言功能上可以分为以下四种：

谈论计划

--Do you want to watch a game show? Yes, I do.（--No, I don’t）

what do you plan to do…? --I plan to watch Days of Our Past. 谈论对某种电视节目的看法

What do you think of ...? How do you like ...? 回答常用：

I love (like) … I don’t like … I don't mind them. I can't stand them. I think it’s (they are) exciting (boring,interesting…) 询问及说明原因

Why do you like watch the news? Because I hope to find out What’s going on around the world? 深入谈论电视节目

What can you expect to learn from sitcoms? 二、学情分析

本单元涉及的是电视节目相关的内容，学生学会这些节目的表达并会谈论这些节目的看法。学生对这些内容比较有兴趣。同时八年级学生具备了一定的合作探究式学习能力，我相信，本单元的学习一定是学生很感兴趣的一个单元。

过程与方法

通过任务型教学、小组合作交流、归纳总结等活动，正确熟练使用目标语言项目，同时发展学生动脑思维能力。在实际运用中体会和领悟语言形式的表意功能。

情感态度与价值观

了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。

注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，培养学生健康向上的爱好。

教学重点：用所学的功能语言与同学交流

教学难点：动词不定式的用法

教学过程

Step1: Greeting

Step2: Review 1.Do you like watching TV? What kinds of TV shows do you know? 2. Guess Look at the screen, and let’s play a guessing game. Picture 1: What do I think of game shows? Two happy faces. Can you guess? Picture 2... Step3: Work on Grammar Focus 1.Ask students to learn Grammar Focus by themselves,then talk about in groups.

2.Ask students to fill in tne blanks. (1)你想看新闻吗？ Do you want to ________ ________ ________？

(2)你觉得谈话节目怎么样？ What do you ________ ________ talk shows? (3)我不介意看。/我不能忍受！/我喜欢看！

Step5: Work on 3b Look at 3b, answer these questions, give answers that are true for you. Then ask and answer with your partner. Then ask several pairs to

Do you plan to watch a sports show tonight? _____________________________ 4. What can you expect to learn from the news? ______________________________ （设计意图：让学生如实回答上述问题，充分训练重点句型，并学会用类似的句型造句。）

Step 6: Work on 3c Do you want to know more about your classmates what TV shows they hope to watch? Now, please take out the form, let’s make a survey in a group. Do you want /hope /expect /plan to watch…? What do you want /hope /expect /plan to watch?

Report like this:

In our group, XXX wants to watch a movie… （设计意图：通过这个环节让学生了解同学的喜好，加深对同学的了解，增进同学之间的友谊，学会关心他人。）

Step7: Summary -Do you want to watch a game show? Yes, I do.（--No, I don’t）
