教学内容分析

本课选自《新标准英语》三年级起始三年级下册Module2 Unit2 That man is short.本单元主要学习运用恰当的形容词描述某人或某物的特征。学习几对反义词：tall-short, big-small, fat-thin. 教学目标

一、知识目标

词汇：tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat small and thin 句子：This monkey is small and thin. 二、能力目标

能灵活运用This/That … is tall/ short/ big/ small.

描述某人/物的特征。

三、情感目标

1.

培养学生爱护小动物的美好品质。

2．通过学习，树立学生学习英语的自信心和团结合作的能力。

教学过程

Step1. Warming-up. Greetings. Sing the ABC song. Step2.Presentation 1).教师给学生们看课件，引出big,small，tall,short, thin, fat. T: Boys and girls , Now Look, What are they? Ss: They are monkeys/trees . T:看图片引导学生说出big,small，tall, short, thin ,fat. 呈现图片，带读的时候教师板书。抽读，纠正学生发音。做动作操练。

教师做动作，学生说单词，操练big,small，short, tall, thin, fat. 2)看课件，做练习。同时老师板书 small and thin , big and fat.

2.1）呈现课件图片，引出man. T:Look

，Who is he? S: He’s a man.(引导学生说出man) 呈现图片，带读的时候教师板书man，并让学生一起举起手拼读

Drill: 1.拍手停。

2）看课件图片引出 this , that （慢慢地对比，引导学生说出来）带读的时候，让学生一起拼读。抽读（让学生边读边做动作），纠正学生发音。

3）看课件图片引导学生说,并板书。

4）听录音，Text learning T: Look at the two men, what do they look like? Watch and listen. 说出意思。并完成相关的练习。
