课程标准四级目标要求八年级的学生能听懂接近自然语速、熟悉话题的简单语段；识别主题，获取主要信息；能引出话题并进行交谈，并能在口语活动中使用正确的语音语调。

本单元主要围绕“如何制作食物”这一话题展开。主要学习祈使句的用法。学会能恰当地使用祈使句表达食物的制作过程。分步骤介绍制作食物的过程或其他活动操作的过程，并引出食物类可数与不可数名词，以及how much与how many的区别。

本课时是读说课，主要通过学生读、说的形式，以学生的读、说和写的练习为主，达到将目标语言循序输出的过程。

学生在前一课时已学习了如何制作火鸡宴，以及其他熟悉的传统食物的制作过程.对描述制作过程的词汇句型有了一定的积累。

能够综合运用所学的知识以及根据所给的提示词来完成阅读填空的任务。

能够综合运用所学的知识来学习写作自己所熟悉的食物的制作过程以及所需的原料。通过相关的语言素材进行看图说话、句型操练、实际描述，基但学生对分步骤介绍制作和操作过程的掌握并不是很好，尤其是食物类可数与不可数名词，以及how much与how many的区别，部分学生容易出错。学生差异出现较明显的分化，因此教学上要面向全体同学的时候要注重分层教学，充分调动每个学生的积极性。

3.通过完成Self check的中练习题来全面复习how much和how many的用法。
